This interactive workshop will help prepare legal representatives to successfully represent a client in an asylum case in immigration court. This workshop is intended for fully accredited representatives and attorneys. We will discuss trial skills in immigration court proceedings, including conducting a successful direct examination, preparing a client for cross examination, and utilizing redirect examination as a tool. We will also troubleshoot common issues that can occur in immigration court and brainstorm how to effectively deal with them.
