This workshop will provide a general overview of the R-1 religious worker visa process and the “Special Immigrant” permanent residence program for religious workers. Topics include strategies for filing the I-129 petition, preparing for the R-1 visa interview, responding to requests for evidence (RFEs), the immigrant visa backlog for religious workers, and other updates in this area of immigration law.
