J.O.P. v. DHS: Updates and Implications for Practitioners Representing Unaccompanied Children Seeking Asylum

On Dec. 21, 2020, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland certified a nationwide class of certain unaccompanied child asylum seekers and amended the court’s earlier preliminary injunction to add additional protections for class members in J.O.P. v. DHS, No. 8:19-cv-01944-GJH (D. Md.). Join members of the J.O.P. class counsel team for this informational webinar, where we will discuss (1) the J.O.P. class definition, (2) the protections granted by the broadened December 2020 injunction, and (3) strategies for practitioners navigating removal proceedings of individuals seeking asylum under USCIS procedures for unaccompanied children.

This webinar will not be recorded, so please join us live.
