Recording: Representing Asylum Seekers in Removal Proceedings

Now, more than ever, it is critical that immigration advocates across the country obtain the skills necessary to zealously represent their clients in removal proceedings. This recorded webinar provides an overview of the legal requirements to establish eligibility for asylum and practical tips for how to present a compelling claim for asylum to the immigration court. Presenters discuss filing the I-589 form and supporting evidence with the court, preparing for the asylum hearing, and what to expect during the merits hearing.
