Assisting Victims of Human Trafficking

In this webinar, the presenters will provide an overview of issues related to human trafficking and eligibility for T nonimmigrant status, including a discussion of the recently issued regulations. What types of situations fall under the definition of human trafficking? How do you prepare a successful application for T status? The presenters will also offer tips for screening for trafficking and best practices for working with trafficked individuals. Finally, this webinar will discuss best practices in the event of targeted enforcement where there are allegations of trafficking, employers are arrested and charged, and employees may be eligible for T nonimmigrant status.
