Advocacy Tools for Immigration Policy Change: Congressional Meetings and Op-Eds

Join experts in advocacy, lobbying and communications to learn how you can help to advocate for immigration policy change by holding effective meetings with your members of Congress, and by drafting an impactful op-ed to be published in a local or national newspaper.

This training will help busy immigration legal professionals learn how to use the time they have for policy advocacy wisely, to deliver a strong message in support of immigration policy change. You have a story to tell! Your daily experiences navigating the difficulties of the immigration legal system and how it affects the people in your community persuasively demonstrate why change is essential. In this training you will learn how best to tell that story to your congressional representatives and to the public through the media.

NOTE: This webinar takes place in Eastern Time. A recorded version of this webinar will be posted on CLINIC’s website. Certificates of attendance are only issued if you attend live webinars.
