Understanding the New NTA Guidance: What Practitioners Need to Know
About This Recording
On June 28, 2018, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service issued new policy guidance on when to issue a Notice to Appear, or NTA, against a removable noncitizen. Overall, the guidance dramatically increases the situations that will trigger when an NTA is issued by USCIS, and will likely lead to more people being placed in removal proceedings.
In this webinar, CLINIC presenters Michelle Sardone, Rebecca Scholtz and Susan Schreiber reviewed who is subject to NTA issuance under the new guidance and what steps you can take as legal advocates to best counsel and protect your clients.
