Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, was expressly available to people with prior removal orders, as long as they met the policy requirements. Temporary Protected Status holders were similarly eligible for protection in spite of a removal order. Now, individuals with prior removal orders whose DACA or TPS protection will lapse are particularly vulnerable to being deported.

This training discusses how to seek a stay with the immigration courts, Board of Immigration Appeals and the Department of Homeland Security. It also compliments the previous CLINIC training, Motions to Reopen for DACA and TPS Holders, as these two motions are often filed together.
