Now that the Supreme Court has lifted the injunction blocking implementation of the public charge rule, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is able to start applying it to adjustment of status applicants. This webinar discusses the current status of litigation challenging this rule, as well as challenges to similar efforts by the State Department. Presenters provided updated information on the effective date of the rule and which clients will be affected. Presenters also offered guidance on advising new family-based applicants, and how they can prepare for their adjustment of status or immigrant visa interviews.
