Weitz is CLINIC’s Director of Communications, overseeing all aspects of strategic communications, rapid response, and media relations, and leading the five-person communications team. Prior to working at CLINIC, he was the communications manager for the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, overseeing social justice and new membership communications to expand awareness of the Sisters’ work throughout the Americas. Weitz also worked as the media specialist for the City of Takoma Park, Maryland. He holds a master’s degree in public relations from the University of the Arts London, London College of Communication, and a bachelor’s degree in political science international relations from Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. He is an experienced non-profit communications practitioner with expertise in digital media, crisis communications, and strategy.

Knox is the Director of Human Resources and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. He joined CLINIC with over 20 years experience in human resources. A Carolinian native, he is an alumnus from Johnson C. Smith University with a bachelor’s degree in business.

He has had the opportunity to work in various human resource capacities for notable institutions and organizations, such as the University of Maryland-College Park, Al Jazeera Media Network, and the Humane Rescue Alliance.
