Nubia Torres is the Director of Network Services at CLINIC, overseeing the advocacy, training and technical assistance, and religious immigration sections. Torres previously served as director of the Immigration Legal Services program at Catholic Charities Dallas, where she remains a volunteer DOJ Fully accredited representative. Torres attended the University of Dallas where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology with a concentration in Spanish. She has been working in immigration law since 2009. Torres has worked extensively with organizations that assist immigrant survivors of crime; provides trainings on immigration and crime victim relief to law enforcement agencies, service providers, and attorneys around the country; and is an advocate for immigrant rights.
