Staff Advocate

Haubner joined CLINIC in July 2023 as a Staff Advocate. She assists immigration programs with development and capacity building. Her work focuses heavily on assistance with DOJ Accreditation and Recognition.

Before coming to CLINIC, Haubner was a teacher, including three years of teaching abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico. In 2017, she became a legal assistant for a CLINIC Affiliate, Maxwell Street Legal Clinic, in Lexington, Kentucky. In 2018, she received DOJ accreditation and began working as a practitioner for Maxwell Street Legal Clinic. She has experience in a wide variety of cases, including victim-based cases, family petitions, DACA, and others.

 

Haubner holds a Bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University. Additionally, she has earned an English Language Learner teaching certificate from Georgetown College and an Advanced Paralegal Studies Certificate from Murray State University.
