Nino serves as a Project Coordinator in the Capacity Building section, where she coordinates activities for the National Immigrant Empowerment Project. She also works with the Center for Immigrant Integration, on projects including newsletters, the training calendar, and affiliate highlights that promote immigrant integration.
Nino worked as an intern with CLINIC, supporting the Center for Immigrant Integration. Additionally, she oversaw the Mexican Screening pilot project. She also volunteered at CASA de Maryland, teaching English to day laborers.
Nino earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker, and is fluent in Spanish.
