As a Senior Attorney, Kerry McGuire provides technical assistance to CLINIC’s network of charitable immigration legal services providers. McGuire comes to CLINIC from the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she started in 2016 as an Equal Justice Works Fellow. During her 7 years at the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota her practice focused on representation of individuals detained in removal proceedings and frequently included clients whose mental health interfered with their ability to participate in proceedings.

McGuire graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Minnesota Law School. She is fluent in Spanish. McGuire is a member of the Minnesota and Illinois bars.
