Flor Lopez is a staff attorney in CLINIC's Training and Technical Assistance department. Prior to joining CLINIC, Lopez was a staff attorney at the Cabrini Center at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Lopez supported the unaccompanied minors' program and was successful in obtaining asylum, special immigration juvenile status, U nonimmigrant, and T nonimmigrant status for clients. Lopez then transitioned into the Family Visa Program. Lopez broadened her expertise in family and humanitarian-based adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers, citizenship, and naturalization.  Lopez has successfully represented clients in front of the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Lopez is a native Spanish speaker and is barred in the State of Texas. Lopez is a graduate of the University of Houston-Downtown and earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
