Elizabeth Nunez Martin is a staff attorney in CLINIC’s Training and Technical Assistance department. Prior to joining CLINIC, Martin was a senior attorney supporting family reunification at Kids in Need of Defense. Martin started her legal career at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston where she represented unaccompanied children in removal proceedings and helped her clients pursue immigration relief such as asylum, special immigrant juvenile status, family petitions, and U visas, among others. Martin received her bachelor’s degree in international studies and political science from Louisiana State University and her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
