Carolina Rivera works as a Federal Advocate and Liaison at CLINIC, providing strategic and technical assistance to Affiliates and representing CLINIC in issues relating to agencies and their processes. Rivera received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Puerto Rico and her Juris Doctorate from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She is admitted to the Puerto Rico bar.
Prior to joining CLINIC, Rivera was the supervising attorney at Catholic Charities Dallas, where she managed a team dedicated to representing low-income individuals in immigration matters while also representing individuals in removal proceedings. She is passionate about immigration law, survivors’ rights, and providing caring advocacy to individuals in need of immigration representation, especially those that are in vulnerable positions.
