The Training and Legal Support Section, a section of the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc., or CLINIC, is seeking a legal intern to provide support as we work to respond to the needs of Afghans who are being resettled in the United States. Our team provides training and legal support to our network of affiliates on immigration law and related issues affecting immigrants. We are working to develop training materials and legal resources to aid the thousands of Afghan citizens who are now in the United States and to help these individuals pursue possible pathways to permanent resident status or asylum.

The legal intern will conduct legal research on immigration law matters affecting those evacuated from Afghanistan and assist in preparing materials to be used in legal trainings.

Close mentoring and supervision will be provided. The intern should be available to work at least 15 hours a week. This is an unpaid position. This position is remote
