Digital Marketing Manager

Summary:

The Digital Marketing Manager conducts various specialized tasks within the Communications Section/Department. The primary role includes the management and review of all outgoing emails from the organization and monitoring and reporting analytics of outgoing emails. The Digital Marketing Manager is the most technologically savvy member of the Communications Team. New assignments and projects can and will be added to the role to fit the growing needs of the section, including blog and storytelling platform support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage CLINIC’s email marketing from the ground up. This includes serving as primary point of contact for staff who wish to send email through our email marketing lists and coordinating goals, timing and messaging; scheduling outgoing emails; working with submitting staff to edit messages to conform to CLINIC “voice” and editorial style; preparing outgoing email and ensuring it is sent according to schedule.
  • Monitor and report email marketing metrics to be used in Board Reports, grant reports, communications reporting, and other needs.
  • Work in collaboration with the Communications team and other staff to strategize email marketing approaches for release of materials as well as projects, campaigns and general public outreach.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all paid digital media marketing planning included, but not limited to Google AdWords, Twitter ads, Facebook ads, ads on partner websites and news websites.
  • Review and edit new posts for the CLINIC website as necessary

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in journalism, marketing, communications, business administration or related fields.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Professional Experience using MailChimp, Constant Contact, or similar email marketing software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excell list creation/merging) Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign or similar graphic design platforms Strong writing, with an emphasis on email writing
  • Moderate experience in editing
  • A willingness to learn “CLINIC’s voice” and style to help with email writing needs
  • Creative thinker with excellent multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment with overlapping needs and deadlines
  • Strong collaborative skills and a team player who is willing to jump in and help the entire team succeed
  • Commitment to social justice work (can be in a professional or personal capacity)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with immigration law
  • Understanding of Catholic social teaching on immigration, church structure and practices
  • Advanced degree in communications, writing or journalism
  • Bilingual

Salary:

$76,000 - $79,000
