    Dec 16, 2014: Children in the Spanish-speaking community are imbued with a profound sense of hospitality. Siblings share more, spend more time together across age barriers than in the English-speaking world.  Within the faith community, year after year, for about 9 days before Christmas there are Posadas or a re-enactment of the search of Mary and Joseph for shelter so that she can give birth to her Child. Often some of the youngest give voice to the search of Mary and Joseph.

    Dec 9, 2014: Recently, CLINIC received a piece of mail with the postal stamp of “Austin, Texas.” The envelope bore no name. Inside, there was no note, just a money order, for $10 made out to the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc.  We were extremely moved by this small but profound gift. Without a return address, we could not send a thank you note so our appreciation compels us to show our gratitude for this, and all generous gifts, made for the benefit of vulnerable newcomers, in a blog post.  When we consider this kindness of donors such as this, we recall the words of...
