Allison Posner joined the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman as Chief of Casework in 2015. In that role, she supports and oversees the analysts who provide individual case assistance, furthering the office’s mission of improving the quality of citizenship and immigration services delivered to the public. Ms. Posner previously served as the Director of Advocacy at the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC), engaging with CLINIC’s members and federal agencies on issues of importance to immigrants. Prior to joining CLINIC in 2004, Ms. Posner worked in private law practice. Ms. Posner is a member of the New York State Bar and a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and American University’s Washington College of Law. She is a Senior Fellow at the Partnership for Public Service and a graduate of its Excellence in Government program.
