Update on Deferred Action for DREAMers

This webinar is only offered to CLINIC Affiliates

Date: August 3, 2012

Time: 2:00-3:30 p.m. EDT

On June 15, President Obama announced a new administration policy whereby DHS will be able to grant deferred action to certain qualifying young people, often known as DREAMers, who have fulfilled age, residency, and educational or military requirements. He announced that the process of granting deferred action would be implemented within 60 days of his decision. Last week, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that DHS will share further details about the application process and eligibility requirements on August 1st, and that CIS will begin accepting applications on August 15th.
