Many immigration practitioners represent clients who have suffered some type of severe and/or repeated trauma, and understanding how this impacts both the client and the legal practitioner is critical. This interactive training will provide practical tools for how to understand and work with survivors of trauma while taking care of ourselves in the process. Participants will learn the basics of trauma research and leave with tools for how to provide trauma-informed lawyering to these clients in order to build a trusting and effective representative-client relationship.
A recorded version of this webinar will be posted on our website.
The registration deadline is 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 22, 2019.
