The Director of Immigration and Refugee Services manages and administers the Refugee Resettlement Services, Immigration Services, and English as a Second Language programs for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The Director of Immigration and Refugee Services reports to Division Director and works with staff, funders, state and local agencies, church parishes and other partners to achieve departmental and agency goals. Additional duties include strategizing on how to best serve ongoing and changing client needs; monitoring contract deliverables; tracking designated billing inputs; monitoring budget activity; reporting quantitative and qualitative performance indicators; interfere with funding agencies and subcontractors; and other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s Degree required. J.D. from an accredited American Bar Association institute, or Master’s Degree in a relevant field preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and a minimum of three years of experience supervising a diverse workforce. Experience in refugee resettlement, populations management, or related field preferred. Successful track record of federal contract management or a combination of the above experience which total five (5) years in a similar position preferred.
