How do you create support to expand your charitable immigration program? How do you help your agency director and board of directors better understand the need for charitable legal immigration services? How do you become a catalyst for legalization planning before a bill passes?
In this first of a seven-part webinar series on immigration program management, the presenters will discuss the different stakeholders that need to be cultivated to support program expansion and the tools and strategies to put forward a compelling plan. This webinar is intended for experienced program directors and also for up-start programs seeking to grow. Future webinars will present topics contained in CLINIC’s Immigration Program Management training and manual including: the physical environment and tools of immigration programs; staffing and legal training; Board of Immigration Appeals agency recognition and staff accreditation process; case management systems; managing financial performance; outreach and marketing; and advocacy. The presenters for the first webinar in the series on February 2 are Jeff Chenoweth and Leya Speasmaker, Field Support Coordinators for CLINIC’s Center on Citizenship and Immigrant Communities.
