This webinar will cover the basic principles on using the CSPA to preserve immediate relative, second preference (F-2A), and derivative status for family-based beneficiaries. It will also cover more complex issues, such as seeking immigrant status within one year, retention of priority date, and opting out when the petitioner naturalizes. Presenters will also cover the current status of pending litigation. The webinar will proceed at a measured pace and include exercises and periodic Q & A sessions. Presenters include CLINIC's Charles Wheeler and Kristina Karpinski.

The Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) is authorized by the State Bar of California to provide minimum continuing legal education (MCLE) trainings.
