You’ve done an FBI check on your client and discovered he has a couple of criminal convictions. You requested the criminal records from the courts where the convictions occurred and now you have to determine the immigration consequences. In this fourth of a five-part webinar series, the presenters will continue to provide you with tools to help you answer this question. The presenters will discuss how you analyze the immigration consequences looking at the underlying criminal statute and sentencing provisions, case law and secondary sources. The speakers will be Susan Schreiber and Sarah Bronstein, Staff Attorneys with Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. The final webinar in our series is scheduled for April 20th and will cover applying the steps of case analysis to various scenarios.
Nonmembers, register here. After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
