The conference offered thoughtful, evidence-based law and policy analysis and discussion of cutting-edge immigration issues. Featured panelists included high-ranking government officials, academics, advocates, and other immigration experts.
Topics included an analysis of the role of states and the federal government in immigration enforcement, as well as the effects of litigation; immigration policy and the 2012 elections; the implementation of the Administration's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and other hot topics in legal service provision; and issues in protection for refugees and affirmative asylum seekers.
